Monday, March 1, 2010 17:40 - At approximately 1730hrs companies from the RV Structural Taskforce were dispatched to Moore St. for a reported dwelling fire. Further information given to Central advised that there was possibly a juvenile still in the residence. Ambulance 5094 arrived and advised incoming units that there was fire showing and police were confirming the report of one still trapped in the dwelling. 5001 (Gaskill) arrived to find heavy fire and placed the companies in service. Engine 5013 arrived and stretched a line to the dwelling. Squad 2723 was second arriving and completed a water supply for 5013. The crew from 2723 split into two crews with two personnel stretching a second attack line while two other members went to complete the primary search of the dwelling. It was determined that the dwelling was split in two and was actually a duplex as 2723 completed all searches and continued to open up and check for extension in the dwelling. All searches came up negative in the dwelling. Crews worked together to effectively and quickly bring the fire under control. 2723 operated on the scene for approximately two hours. There were no injuries reported. Other crews on scene were E1311, R1319, R3919, E3411, RIT 1613, BLS 5094, BLS 5091.
